This card that Kelly created is just beautiful. This picture doesn't give it justice because the butterfly wings are pressed flat - they can be bent up so it looks like they'll fly off at any moment!

This wonderful card from Kelly is one that I received in a swap & features butterflies cut out with the Big Shot & the Beautiful Butterflies die. Bella Rose Designer Series paper (DSP) was used to create the flowery background and also the Kiwi Kiss colored butterflies. Riding Hood Red card stock was also used to create some butterfly layers. An Old Olive card was decorated with the DSP and a piece of Old Olive grosgrain ribbon before adding the butterflies. The butterfly layers were added one by one by using a single dimensional at the butterfly center. In this way, the wings can be bent up and the individual layers separated to give lots of dimension. The greeting was stamped with Old Olive ink, punched out with the scallop oval punch and layered onto a wide oval punch-out of Riding Hood Red card stock. Spring is in the air (& butterflies too)!
