Card Of The Day:
Friday - March 27, 2009
Today's card is one I made for my good friend & stamping buddy June. I cut butterflies in Gable Green and Orchid Opulence card stock and then ran them through the Big Shot with the Baby Daisy Texturz plate. After layering them on top of each other I glued a thin strip of Pacific Point to the center to create the butterfly body. A piece of Pink Pirouette card stock was punched with the scallop edge punch along one side and pink butterflies were stamped randomly. This was then glued to the card on the left side. The butterfly was attached with Stampin' dimensionals. A thank you greeting was stamped in Pacific point ink, punched out with the large oval punch & then matted onto a Pacific Point scallop oval punch-out. This was also attached to the card with a dimensional. Some striped Pacific Point grosgrain ribbon was pulled a bit into the center of a white grommet before attaching it to the right side to give it a faux knot. Stop by tomorrow to see how the inside was decorated.
