Notes:
The Big Shot & matchbox XL die are great tools to use when you need a small little box (approximate dimensions = 2" x 2 3/4") for your cute little gift (think earrings, jewelry, small candies, etc.). It cuts the box, cover & three tags all in one pass through the Big Shot!

Matchbox mania has swept my house lately. I just love this new die that Stampin' Up! has just released. It works fabulously with the 2-sided Designer Series Papers because both sides look great! I used the Spring Showers designer paper to create this adorable little gift box. After folding all the scored lines and gluing the box together with some Sticky Strip, you get a basic box with a slide on cover. The 3 tags that were cut out with the box were layered on top of each other with Stampin' dimensionals after I stamped the "for you" in Chocolate chip ink on the smallest/top tag. Some 5/8" So Saffron grosgrain ribbon was wrapped around the box cover before attaching all those pretty tags. The final accent added was a small flower punched out with the Trio Flower punch so that the white dot was at it's center. This was then stuck on to the blue tag with a mini-glue dot. Stop by tomorrow to see the inside of this cute little box.
