Card stock can also be used to make a sturdier matchbox. Here I've mix both card stock and Bella Rose Designer Series paper.

This pretty little floral matchbox is the first one I made & it was for my Mom. I wanted to thank her for buying me the Matchbox die, so I thought the least I can do is show her what great fun (& addiction) her money provided! I used Kiwi Kiss card stock and covered the portion of the die for the box bottom and then put a piece of Bella Rose DSP over the box top. I also put a small scrap of Kiwi over the small tag & then ran the die through the Big Shot. Next, I assembled the box & lid with Sticky Strip and then decorated the lid with striped Riding Hood Red grosgrain ribbon & 2 popped-up elements: a Riding Hood Red wide oval punch-out & the Kiwi tag cut from the die. The tag was stamped with "for you" in Riding Hood Red ink. The last little cute touch is the small flower punch-out decorated with the white gel pen & stuck onto the tag with a mini-glue dot.
