Today's featured card is as cute as a bug...a ladybug that is. A Whisper White card was layered with More Mustard card stock. Next, a strip of Ruby Red card stock was added across the top of the card in the same length as the Mustard card stock. A square of Whisper white card stock was stamped with the ladybug image and greeting in Basic Black ink. The image was colored with Watercolor pencils and blended with a Blender pen. This square was adhered to the center of the ruby strip. A slightly larger Night of Navy rectangle of card stock was punched at its center with the 1 3/8" square punch to create a frame. This frame was adhered on top of the stamped image after adding a small scrap of red gingham ribbon to the right side with a mini-stapler. The square punch-out was cut along the diagonal and the 2 triangles created were glued to the bottom 2 corners of the More Mustard piece. This color combination makes for a card that can be given to either a boy/girl or man/woman, so is a smart choice to make a couple of extra to keep on hand.
