Thinking of You today! What soothing color combination of Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke & Very Vanilla. The leaves stamp from the "Petal Prints" stamp set was used to stamp Artichoke leaves along the left side of a Mellow Moss piece of card stock. Next, a small flower was stamped randomly with Very Vanilla craft ink on top of and next to the leaves. After the vanilla ink dried, Artichoke ink was sponged on top of these images for the most part while the right side of the Moss piece was masked off with a piece of torn copier paper (look carefully next to the ribbon at the bottom of the card). This Mellow Moss piece was then adhered onto a Very Vanilla card after a piece of narrow Olive organdy ribbon was wrapped around & tied in a knot. The greeting was heat embossed by stamping it with Craft Vanilla ink, sprinkling on the Vanilla embossing powder and heating it until melted. I always recommend that the embossing buddy be used on darker colored card stocks to avoid speckling with the lighter colored embossing powder - this can really foul up your project (you can see the specks pretty clearly on this image). The greeting was matted onto Very Vanilla and then a larger piece of Artichoke before being glued down on the right side of the card. Great card!
