Notes:
Such a beautiful card...I love purples and greens together, but they especially look great in this card with lots of Apricot Appeal.
Card Of The Day:
Thursday - May 7, 2009
This inspirational card could be used for several different occasions: cheering up a friend, a get well card, or just to say hello. The Apricot Appeal card was stamped on the left side with the French Script background stamp in Certainly Celery ink. A piece of narrow white organdy ribbon was glued down at the edge of the stamped script. A rectangular piece of apricot card stock was then stamped on the right side with the verse from the "All I have seen" set in Lilac ink. A stamping sponge was then used to sponge lilac ink all around the edges of this piece before it was glued down to the center of the card. Two squares of card stock (lilac and celery) were torn around their edges before being layered and adhered on top of the left side of the sponged panel. A white torn square was stamped with the flower block stamp from the "All I have seen" set. To make this stamp tri-colored, it was first inked with apricot ink & then colored in with celery & lilac markers.
