This cute card was created by Trish and uses no stamps (except for maybe the inside verse)! All the papers were taken from the "Special Delivery - Girl" Simply Scrappin' kit. The textured Groovy Guava card stock was cut & folded to form the card. Next, Trish layered on a strip of textured Sahara Sand card stock across the card center. The So Saffron scalloped self-adhesive die-cut (also in the kit) was layered on top of the Sahara Sand near the bottom of the card. A sticky cut "1" from the Sticy cut letters (& obviously numbers too) set was sprinkled with fine orange glitter from the Supernova set & then carefully stuck to the left of the card. The Big Shot die cutter was used to cut out the Big Bold cupcake (sizzlit dies) in the DSP paper that comes with the Simply Scrappin' kit. Textured apricot card stock was used to cut out the candle and flame. All the cupcake parts were adhered to the right side of the card & viola it is finished! Simply Scrappin' kits are great for creating scrapbooks, but shouldn't only be limited to that. They're fabulous to create quick & cute cards in a snap - & you know that all the card stocks, die-cuts and DSPs will work great together because they're designed that way.
