After procrastinating a little over a year, I finally tried my hand at making 60 cards (actually card fronts) from 1 Simply Scrappin' kit. I had my doubts, but I now LOVE this concept. You can create a bunch of different cards from one kit (you control the greetings with the stamps you choose to use), then stash them away so you always have them on hand right when you need them. I'll be featuring a bunch of these over the next few weeks. I did make 60 - some of the designs I repeated so that I got 2, 4 or even 6 of the same design. Your ability to make multiples really depends on the different self-adhesive die cuts (similar to stickers, but much thicker & repositional for ~24 hours) that are available in each kit. This sample uses the Certainly Celery card stock provided in the kit, 2 different border strip die-cuts and a Bashful Blue tag. I just stamped the birthday greetings from the "On Your Birthday" stamp set in Always Artichoke ink onto the blue tag and bottom right of the card front. I added a knotted piece of ribbon (not in the kit) inbetween the 2 border strips. All that needs to be done to finish this card off is to glue it onto a standard size card & stamp or write a nice message inside. I think either Whisper White or So Saffron card stock would work really well to frame this card front.
