Thursday's Card Of The Day

Today I'm featuring a pretty birthday card I received from my very good friend Karen. She used the StazOn Jet Black ink pad to stamp the heart & daisy image from the stamp set "Merci" onto a piece of watercolor paper. Next, she colored in the image with an Aqua painter and the Watercolor wonder crayons. The stem & heart outlines were then colored over with markers. This was then matted on Regal Rose and Ballet Blue card stock. The Ballet Blue card was covered with the heart paper from the Delicate Dots DSP collection after a piece of Brocade Blue 5/8" grosgrain ribbon was glued to the center. The heart & flower piece was adhered to the left side of the card and a wide oval punch-out of "Birthday wishes" was popped-up on the right side with Stampin' Dimensionals. Such a bright & happy card!
